Art by Dean St. Clair - for Sale
The Windsor Hotel and Restoration Association is the proud recipient of an extremely generous donation. We are now in possession of multiple signed and numbered lithographs representing the artistic accomplishments of Dean St. Clair (deceased). As a young boy Dean wanted to draw as much as he wanted to move to the Wild West. As an adult the utilized both desires in creating a powerful collection of water colors and oils. His work combined a delicate balance of light, shadow and color to express his love of things natural and times past.
In creating his paintings he drew from a wealth of experiences from his youth on a farm in North Carolina to traveling the West and participating in roundups on a ranch in New Mexico.
Dean participated in Nation Exhibitions including: "Arizona Splendor" Vanier & Roberts Fine Art, Scottsdale Arizona; Mountain Oyster Club Show, Tucson, Arizona; C.M. Russell Auction, Great Falls, Montana; Arts for the Parks Top 100, 1990-1995; U.S. Art Magazine Award, 1994; National Watercolor Society, 2nd Place 1992; National Watercolor Society, 3rd Place 1993.
Dean's work was also published in Southwest Art - November 1993; The Artists Magazine - August 1994; "artCentral's Palettes & Palates" - 1995
